SEMS Element #2- Safety and Environmental Information

360factors announces the acquisition of Rosengarten, Smith & Associates, Inc. (RSA) environmental compliance services, environmental remediation and compliance services with offices in Austin, Corpus Christi and Houston, Texas.
360factors is a regulatory risk and compliance management software company that has developed a unique and innovative Environmental Management System using cognitive mapping technology. This system increases operational excellence, sustainability and safety by managing all of an organization’s compliance departments through a single risk-based Environmental Management Software Platform.
RSA has provided environmental compliance management services including water, wastewater, and air quality permitting; environmental site assessment services; and remediation services to the oil and gas, petrochemical, railcar transportation, natural resource, and plastics manufacturing industries for over 25 years.
“With rising cost of regulatory compliance and increased pressure by organizations to reduce costs, the merger of RSA’s environmental expertise complements 360factors’ automation proficiency. The application of these combined resources to industrial environmental programs will increase operational excellence, sustainability, and safety for organizations, their officers and the communities we live in, while reducing overall environmental management cost,” said 360factors CEO Ed Sattar.
“Dispersed documentation and disparate systems prevent the executives of an organization from collectively viewing environmental risks. Compliance leading and lagging indicators across all departments are difficult for Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) managers to monitor and assess in making timely and proactive decisions, which makes it even more difficult to create a culture of sustainability and safety. Our environmental experts’ ability to use 360factors’ environmental management system will help deliver services that will provide real-time access to reports, requirements, and documentation, which in turn ensure that our clients are always audit-ready,” said RSA President Randy Rosengarten.
RSA will operate as a distinct division with the same personnel and management structure. RSA will provide enhancements to the environmental management software product through experience in practical application of environmental laws and regulations. The integration will allow consistent practice of standards and processes, and increase quality and efficiency for its customers. Additionally, 360factors and RSA working together will accelerate growth of its services in the auditing, assessment, remediation and permitting for all the verticals within the oil and gas industry.
